Decarbonization & Technology Expert
As a Decarbonization & Technology Expert you will work with the STEP Technology Manager and be responsible for:
- Support scouting and analysis of innovative circular economy technologies, energy efficiency, renewables, new fuels (e.g., hydrogen, biomethane), new materials, and new processes to make, developed by startups or existing companies that can contribute to achieving the decarbonization goals of STEP’s clients;
- Pre-sales support in meetings with industrial clients to identify decarbonization opportunities and initiatives and to draft respective business plans;
- Support the development of integrated decarbonization projects to achieve targets shared with customers;
- Management of relationship and interlocutions with customers for data collection and analysis, discussion with technical interlocutors of the customer or third parties to support technical investigation of the feasibility of identified initiatives;
- Analysis and preparation of technical materials to support meetings with prospects and clients;
- analysis of industrial processes and creation of reports to support technical or business decisions.
Requirements for the role of Decarbonization & Technology Expert:
- Bachelor’s degree in power engineering, chemical, mechanical, aerospace or similar;
- At least two years’ experience gained on industrial projects, such as within ESCo or utilities;
- Strong sense of ethics, passion for the environment and environmental sustainability policies;
- Passion for technology and innovation;
- Empathy and excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
- Determination and proactivity;
- Excellent knowledge of the English language;
- Familiarity with Office package.
