STEP Srl is a benefit company and Innovation Hub located in Treviglio, Italy, with the goal of promoting sustainable innovation in Italian industry. We develop innovative decarbonization projects, reducing the environmental impact of production processes.
Position Description:
We are looking for an Innovation& Technology Expert with at least 4-5 years of experience, with a strong passion for sustainability and innovation. The figure will play a key role in the study, validation and implementation of green tech technologies within industries, , ensuring their effectiveness and integration into production processes. He/she will actively contribute to the development and adoption of innovative solutions, supporting decarbonization projects and facilitating the transition to a more sustainable industry.
Responsibilities:
The Innovation & Technology Expert will play a central role in developing integrated decarbonization projects in industries, ensuring the implementation of innovative technologies.
Specifically, the activities will be as follows:
- Analysis of industrial processes to identify the best technological solutions to be implemented for decarbonization purposes
- Scouting, study and validation of innovative green tech technologies, including circular economy, energy efficiency, new fuels, new materials and advanced processes. The activity will include evaluation of technologies developed by startups or established companies to verify their applicability in industrial projects.
- Implementation and adaptation of validated technologies within industrial settings, ensuring that solutions are effective and scalable.
- Drafting business plans for complex projects by integrating innovative technological solutions for sustainable transformation of production processes.
- Relationship management and interlocutions with industrial clients: from the initial inspection phase, to data collection and analysis, to technical discussions with the client and third parties, for the purpose of assessing the feasibility of proposed interventions.
- Creating networks and collaborations with technology experts, universities and research centers, fostering the development of integrated projects and synergies with academia and industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering (or STEM)
- At least 5 years’ experience in areas related to technological innovation, decarbonization, energy efficiency or development of new technologies applied to industry and technical expertise in green tech technologies and industrial process analysis.
- Skills in managing complex projects and experience in managing relationships with industrial clients.
- Proactivity, problem-solving and ability to work independently, with a strong aptitude for innovation and experimentation with new technological solutions. Passion for environmental sustainability and technological innovation and desire to be able to make a difference with your work
- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English (B2) to interface with international partners.
What we offer:
RAL: 35,000 to 45,000, depending on experience, with a production bonus of 5,000 tied to goal achievement.
